Rules Of Participation
Dear Trainees and Trainers!
For the sake of a pleasant and enjoyable experience for all, the following rules must be known and adhered to by all participants in the course of the Instructor Training.
Only by accepting the rules outlined in this document, can each participant join the Instructor Training.
Rules and Regulations
- The Rules and Regulations apply to all individuals participating in the Instructor Training, including, but not limited to, the participants (hereinafter referred to as 'trainees'), individuals involved in organizing and conducting the training (instructors), and service providers (e.g., security personnel, catering staff, performers, etc.), as well as those employed or engaged in any other form of contractual relationship. The territorial scope of these rules extends to all areas where events related to the Instructor Training take place.
- The organizers have established these rules to ensure a pleasant entertainment and socializing experience for all participants. However, in exceptional cases, the organizers may restrict or terminate any activities that endanger the life, health, or physical well-being of others, particularly drug use and trafficking.
- During the entire duration of the Instructor Training and related events, no tools, substances, or objects that could harm anyone's life, bodily health, or property are allowed on the premises. This includes, but is not limited to, cutting, stabbing, or striking tools, weapons or weapon-like items, explosive or flammable substances (e.g., firecrackers), poisons, narcotics, etc. The organizers have the right to confiscate such items, and entry to the event site is not permitted with these objects.
- The organizers will provide security and protection for the events during the Instructor Training. Throughout the training, participants may bring personal items, equipment, clothing, etc. at their own risk, and each individual is responsible for safeguarding their belongings.
- The Instructor Training is a private community event for the organizers and participants. Presentations, leaflets, posters, or other similar materials and events may only be displayed with the permission of the organizers, provided they are for the benefit of an organization that has supported and contributed to publicizing the event.
- During the Instructor Training, no activities that may pose a fire hazard, accident risk, or any health danger are allowed.
- Equipment, tools, etc. on the premises used during the Instructor Training may be used by everyone, but at their own risk. The user shall be liable for any damage resulting from improper use. The organizers are not responsible for any improper use of the equipment or for any personal injury, accidents, or damages. Anyone who unlawfully causes damage to the venue’s valuables, equipment, or assets shall be required to compensate for the damage.
- Everyone participates in the Instructor Training voluntarily, and no part of it (e.g. tasks) is mandatory for anyone. If any part of the organized program conflicts with the participant's beliefs or values, they are not obligated to take part. The program does not include tasks with references to sexuality. Participation influenced by peer pressure is not considered voluntary. The training can be stopped at any time, but the participant must inform the organizers of their decision.
- The programmes, participants' behavior, and communication must align with the University's values and Code of Ethics (http://semmelweis.hu/jogigfoig/files/2017/12/Etikai_Kodex_hataly_2017XII09.pdf), the Rules of Organisation and Operation of the Group (http://iocs.hu/magunkrol/szmsz), and the applicable Hungarian laws (available at www.njt.hu)
- During or after the end of the Instructor Training, participants may address their complaints and comments to the Leaderboard of the Group of Unprompted Instructors in person, by phone, or in writing to vezetoseg@iocs.hu. Additionally, they may contact the Rector's Secretariat of the University (rektor@semmelweis-univ.hu, Budapest 1085, Üllői út 26. 1st floor 101, +36 1 317 2400), even through anonymous notifications. The University will investigate all complaints and, if necessary, involve the relevant authorities. Both IÖCS and the University handle all applicants' data confidentially and will not disclose it to anyone.
- The participant shall immediately notify the responsible organizer or group leader in case of any accidents, injuries, or extraordinary events!
- The participant is obliged to report any acute, chronic, or temporary illnesses, allergies, and provide printed medication instructions. The organizers will handle this information with strict confidentiality and will not share it with third parties, except for the group leader. This rule is necessary to prevent potential emergencies.
- The participants acknowledge that in the event of a reasonable suspicion of non-compliance with these Rules and Regulations or of a crime or misconduct, those responsible for security have the right to detain the participant concerned until the necessary legal consequences have been determined. In the event of a crime, the perpetrator may be apprehended by anyone and must be reported to the police (see Section 127 (3) of Act XIX of 1998). The participants expressly acknowledge that the potential application of this measure against them does not constitute a restriction or violation of their freedom of movement.
- In the event of any violation of any norm and/or law (within 5 months of the act being committed), the University shall initiate disciplinary proceedings. The disciplinary penalties may include: admonishment, severe admonishment, reduction or withdrawal of allowances and benefits defined in the remuneration and allowance regulations for a period of up to six months, suspension from studies for a fixed period, not exceeding two semesters, expulsion from the university or other higher education institution.
- Members of the security staff may search the suspected person and their luggage in the event of suspected possession or consumption of drugs, or any other criminal act. The procedure shall involve the person concerned, the responsible security personnel conducting the search, and Orsolya Sisa (president of the Group).
- During the course of the training, it is prohibited to take, record, store, or publish any photo, sound recording, film, motion picture, video, or any other medium (including but not limited to: Internet, Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr, X, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) that infringes upon anyone's person, rights, or legitimate interests. Storing or publishing such photos and recordings is also prohibited after the end of the Instructor Training.
- The above applies equally to all participants of the Instructor Training.
- I hereby consent to the audio and video recording of myself at the event, with the recordings being stored by the organizers, used for their operations, and provided to the University. I do not claim any compensation for the storage or future use of the recordings.
- If I become aware of any recording that contains content offensive to me or others, I will promptly notify the event organizers so that they can take action to investigate and, if necessary, delete the reported content.
- According to section 65 (3) a) of Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information (Infotv.), NAIH does not maintain records of this data processing.
